Helpful details to include
- Your iPhone or iPad model and iOS version
- The PicToss version (shown in the App Store)
- What you were doing and what happened
- A screenshot, if it helps, without personal photos
Troubleshooting
- My photos don’t appear
- Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → PicToss and check the access level. With Limited Access, PicToss only shows the photos you selected. In PicToss, Settings → Open Settings takes you there directly.
- A photo is slow to load
- With iCloud Photos and Optimize iPhone Storage, the full image may need to be downloaded from iCloud. Check your internet connection.
- I deleted a photo by mistake
- Open the Photos app → Albums → Recently Deleted. Apple keeps deleted photos there for a limited time, usually up to 30 days.
- Restore my Ad-Free purchase
- Open the Ad-Free screen in PicToss and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
- Start sorting again
- Settings → Reset Sorting Progress clears your saved decisions. It does not delete any photo.
- Change advertising choices
- When required in your region, Settings → Ad Privacy Options lets you review your advertising consent choices.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How does PicToss work?
Choose a month, a year or an album, then swipe right to keep a photo or left to mark it for deletion. You can also use the Keep and Delete buttons and undo your last decision. When you are done, review the marked photos and confirm the deletion.
Does PicToss upload my photos?
No. PicToss reads your library through Apple’s Photos framework on your device. There is no PicToss account and DORIAQ does not operate a server that receives your photos. If you use iCloud Photos, Apple may download an image from iCloud so it can be displayed.
Where is my progress stored?
On your device. PicToss saves photo identifiers, your decisions and their dates so you can resume later. It never stores a copy of your photos. Reset Sorting Progress in Settings clears these decisions without deleting any photo.
Is a photo deleted as soon as I swipe left?
No. Swiping left only marks the photo. Nothing is removed until you confirm in the review screen and iOS asks for its own confirmation. Deleted photos then stay in Recently Deleted in the Photos app, according to Apple’s rules, so you can still recover them there.
Does PicToss sort videos?
Not in this version. PicToss sorts photos only. Live Photos are shown as still images, and photos from shared albums are not included because the app cannot delete them.
How much storage will I free up?
PicToss shows an estimate of the original photo data involved. It is not a guarantee of free space: deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for a while, and iCloud Photos storage optimization changes how much space is used on your device.
How much does PicToss cost?
PicToss is free to download and shows ads. A one-time Lifetime Ad-Free purchase removes all ads; you can also watch optional rewarded ads for ten minutes without ads. There is no subscription. The App Store shows the price in your currency.
